Seen at left is a typical tee fitting made from solid inconel bar to General Electric specifications. Note J991 weld ports and spherical radius. In volume, such parts are typically produced from forgings, and our firm owns dozens of exclusive use forging dies - tooling that allows us to pass on significant savings to customers.
Shown top right is an unusual double threaded "inverted" tube nut made from AMS 5646 (347 Stainless) to a Prattt and Whitney design with both internal and external threads. The more commonly used tube nuts for aircraft engine application are the MS 9197 silver plated tube coupling nut and MS 9198 unplated version, all of which are usually available from stock. At lower right is a MS 9879 tube fitting, usually used in conjunction with the MS 9378 collar. Finally below is an inconel elbow machined from solid bar to a Rolls Royce Allison design.
